- Internship
Definition:A period of time during which someone works for a company or organization in order to get experience of a particular type of work.
Ex: Jane has a summer internship at a local TV station.
- Rule out
Definition:To prevent something from happening.
Ex:The warehouse fire has ruled out any chance that we will make a profit this year.
- The article mentions that internships are unpaid.“If you can't afford to work for free, it makes it very difficult to do an internships.”“So the poorer you are the more difficult it can be to get a good job, even if you have the ability.” I think this is unfair. Work experience is very important for the fresh graduate in the society, so I think the company must pay at least the minimum wage to the intern. It will solve the problem of internship.
